Garrett Bess

After 30+ years behind the scenes creating commercial, corporate, and original content, Garrett Bess is now putting his experience front and center as host of Bike to Bites. Garrett has always been fascinated with delicious food, unique destinations, interesting personalities, and distance cycling and now, with Bike to Bites, he’s able to focus all his passions into a sensory journey to delight the insatiable appetite and wanderlust in us all.

Early in his career, Garrett partnered with Oscar and Emmy award-nominated actress, Joan Cusack, to develop and produce the six-part original miniseries, Joan Cusack’s Local Flavor for Travel Channel. He also created and produced Belly Up and The Four Coursemen for the Cooking Channel as well as Good Food America, earning both Emmy and James Beard award nominations for his work.

An alum of Emerson College, and proud native of New Jersey, this self-proclaimed “Jersey Guy” happily resides in his home state with his wife, Dawn. When he’s not producing content or dining at his local favorites, you’re sure to spot Garrett logging miles on his trusty bike where he’s free to let his mind ramble down the road to the next Bike to Bikes location.
