U.S. Cities Where Cars Are Not Allowed

Christina Thompson (Anchor, EarthxNews): Some big cities here in the US are looking for ways to cut back on the number of cars each day, but there are already places here where cars are not allowed:
- Halet Cove, Alaska—one of the world’s only floating towns.
- Supai, Arizona—the nearest road is 8 miles away!
- Maak Island, Michigan—you can get around on foot, bike, or horse.
- Fire Island, New York—the only way there is by passenger ferry.
- Balad Island, North Carolina—golf carts okay, cars are not.
- Tanger Island, Virginia—known for soft-shell crabbing.
- And Governor’s Island in New York Harbor—where you get a great view of the Statue of Liberty!
